Top 10 – Tragic Love Stories: Part 2

I decided that after watching more films and giving my Top 10 – Tragic Love Stories post more thought that a second part of tragic love stories should be done. Mainly because lets face it so many tragic love stories seem to happen on the movie world. I have taken into consideration the comments on what is now Tragic Love Stories: Part 1 – with people letting me know which films they feel have the most tragic love stories in them. I agreed with a lot of them as well, but had already done the first list.

This part contains quite a lot of more recent film love stories and some which were missed from Part 1!

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS

Summer 2011 at the Movies

As we are entering June, the summer films are going to be coming out thick and fast over the next couple of months. Let’s have a look and see what we have to look forward to! As with most summer films, a lot seem to be based around comic books. We have another installment from X-Men (hopefully doing better than Wolverine) and the much anticipated Captain America: The First Avenger, which is the last film in the build up to ‘The Avengers’ which is due out next year. A couple of comedies thrown in. But let’s face it, this summer is about the final Harry Potter film, part 2 of the Deathly Hallows. The end of the franchise after 10 years since it all began.

It doesn’t seem that many out and out romantic comedies are going for a summer release (unless of course I have missed them). Definitely more for the action and adventure angle this summer!

What films are you looking forward to most this summer?

X-Men: First Class (2011) Posters & Trailer

How it all began for Charles and Erik aka Professor X and Magneto. I cannot make my mind up if I think this looks good or not, the trailer doesn’t really give much away. It has to be good for the X-Men series as Wolverine Origins was very disappointing.

Penelope (2006) Review

I guess I am having mixed feelings about this movie. As it is always a difficult subject matter for someone who has something wrong with their appearance. So Penelope is part of a family who has a curse put on them, for when the first girl is born into the family. The curse is that she has a pig’s nose or snout, which yes sounds ridiculous but did look rather funny. But not really scary to the way all the guys would run away from her . . . anyway legend had it that getting married would left and break the curse.

MTV Movie Awards 2009 – Best Kiss – Twilight

Yep another award for Twilight. This time to both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I bet it was quite a close one to call with Zac and Vanessa being nominated for HSM3.

I thought the kiss between James and Angelina for Wanted was very hot !!! But what about Sean Penn and James Franco, in “Milk” that was brilliant !!!

McAvoy And Duff Trying For Parenthood

Awww I think thats really nice, but always find it strange when news like this is released !!! haha

James McAvoy could soon be a father – he and his actress wife Anne-marie Duff are hoping to start a family.

The pair met on the set of U.K. TV comedy Shameless before falling in love and tying the knot in 2006.

And now Duff, who lives in London with McAvoy, is hoping to extend their family by becoming a first-time mother.

She explains, “I would love to have a baby. As soon as the big fella (God) makes it happen, it would be brilliant. I’m not putting it off but unfortunately bodies don’t work that way.”

And she admits she and McAvoy are already getting plenty of practice at baby-making, laughing: “Of course, I enjoy sex. I have nerve endings. I mean, who doesn’t? Well, I suppose if you have five kids you might not.”
