At the weekend I went down to London and took a little visit to Platform 9 and 3/4 whilst in King’s Cross. So this is perfect for recreating the movie and getting Harry Potter involved in it!

A look back at all the posters for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (2001).
I think I started the 30 day Harry Potter challenge at just the right time, to have it finishing days before the final film is released in theatres. I found it very good going through each day and deciding my favorite or least favorite characters and things about the franchise. A very good challenge for any Potter fan to have a look back at everything about the series.
I also feel a certain sense of achievement by finishing the 30 day challenge. I tried a normal film one a couple of months back and it totally failed at about 14 days. So a good achievement right in time for the final film coming out in two days . . . or three days.
Severus Snape has always been the character who you do not know if he is good or bad. Dumbledore was always in Snape’s corner when Harry used to blame him for everything. However, after Snape kills Dumbledore, Harry takes it all even harder when Dumbledore always used to trust him.
Snape’s story is possibly the best in the entire series and we are going to be seeing this on the big screen in a couple of days. I cried during that whole part of the book, so not holding much hope for holding it together for the film. Not long now!!!
Harry Potter mania headed stateside last night for the NYC premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
Yesterday evening saw the final Harry Potter premiere take place in Trafalgar Square, with what was possibly the biggest red carpet ever linking to Leicester Square. The premiere was broadcast live around the world, and yes I did find myself watching for a few hours. It was a very emotional experience for everyone involved, even watching it all unfold. The cast members were clearly overwhelmed by the amount of fans who were stretched around the stages and red carpet. Such unbelievable scenes in London. All of the cast members spent plenty of time signing autographs and posing for photographs.
Watching live we had interviews and words from all of the different cast members. To finish with we had the three biggest stars of the films, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. Joined by J.K. Rowling herself and the films producers. This lead to emotional speeches taking place and causing each other to get emotional and the tears began to flow. The realisation that this was the last time they would ever have a world premiere for a Potter film and they would never experience anything like that ever again.
This time next week I would have seen the film already for myself as attending a 00:05 showing on Friday 15th July. What I am seeing as a brilliant start to my birthday weekend. Although if my worst crying moment in the books is put into the film in more of a visual way I may indeed leave the cinema in pieces. I am looking forward to the film, but at the same time I really do not want it to be over at all.
When myself and my friend went to the cinema on Sunday to see Bridesmaids, we were very excited to see the Harry Potter style 3D glasses on sale. I had heard rumours that they were going to be available due to the final film being in 3D form. But that was the first I had actually seen them. So we decided to buy them despite the fact that we don’t really want to see the film in 3D or actually big fans of the 3D film! But we could not resist getting them! We then sat before the film started and took pictures in them, convinced that the other people in the cinema must have thought we were sat in the wrong screen with Bridesmaids not being in 3D . . . You even get a little bag to keep them in
Yes that’s right a few more posters have been released for the new Potter film which had it’s world premiere in London last night, and is released next week!
Harry Potter Challenge – Day 24: Any particular scene you wished would have been put in the movie but it wasn’t
I wish we could have had the whole prefect story-line in the films as I felt it was a very important part in the book, just showing something that caused some friction between Harry/Ron and Hermione. As it did give a little edge between them and made sense of why Harry had felt a little more alone. I can understand why they took this out as a prefect would not travel well to different countries as I am assuming it is a very English school thing!
Go to laugh at some of the pictures you find on Tumblr!
I am going for the very obvious choices of picking everyone’s favorite Hogwart’ students in Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger! Who wouldn’t want to be best friends with those three? The adventures they find themselves in each year they are at Hogwarts. They would always look out for you and be there for you. You would never have more loyal and trustworthy friends.
No contest at all, you have to be team Harry or you wouldn’t keep reading and watching! You really do love him from the very start and stick with him until the very end. You go through so much with him, growing up and having to deal with all the talk of being the chosen one. The awkward teenage phase and when he starts to notice girls more. You really cannot be team of the man who must not be named. It is all about the boy wizard who we see grow into a man.
J.K. Rowling’s announcement on what Pottermore is has just been made available for the first time after the owls began gathering. It is going to be a unique online experience reading the books, and finding out more information about the Harry Potter world.
The books will also be made available as E-Book’s for the first time!
This is all going to start in October but some fans will be able to get involved in July to help start creating the online world.

I have no idea what I was expected from this announcement but this is one way that the Harry Potter world is well and truly going to be kept alive!
For this one I’m going for Horcruxes mainly because I think its brilliant that Voldemort split his soul into so many pieces. Which everyone thought was so impossible. For Dumbledore to then start finding them and explaining to Harry that they must all be destroyed before Voldemort can die.
How manipulative each horcrux can be, with the diary possessing Ginny Weasley and the necklace making Harry/Ron and Hermione see very strange things if they wore it for too long. Just showing how powerful Voldemort really is.
