Les Misérables (2012) Trailer
The first official trailer for the much-anticipated musical movie version of the much-loved stage show. I really like the trailer and I think having “Dreamed a Dream” being sung over the trailer is such a brilliant idea. I cannot wait until December to see this film on the big screen. It really is going to be good with the fantastic cast they have for the film!
While this certainly seems like it will be enjoyable, I don’t believe it will be quite the same as the original. I had the good fortune to see Les Miserable during its Toronto run many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it – so much so that I immediately purchased the CD set from the show. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the CD. One of the things that really made the show (for me) was knowing one of the actors (Heather Brown, who played a young Cocette).
That being said, I look forward to viewing this version.
