My One and Only (2009) Poster
Just come across this poster Renee Zellweger’s up and coming movie. I have to say I like the line up of the cast, Chris Noth and Eric McCormack = good times. I love Mr Big, haha.

RIP SIR BOBBY ROBSON
Taken aside from films, this is a very sad day for football. For Newcastle United, and fans of football around the Country and across the world.
He was a true gentleman of the game and just a joy to listen to and watch.
I was there the day he became Newcastle manager and it was so an occasion. I started going to games in his era and it was fantastic.

Public Enemies (2009) Review

The first thing you think before seeing this movie is . . . Johnny Depp . . . Christian Bale . . . Marion Cotillard. It really should be fantastic. I said should be, as I did not find it fantastic it was ok but not the best recent film I have seen. Johnny Depp as always put in a great performance, he really can be any type of character. Christian Bale was not in it enough to make a bigger impact (in my opinion) he did not really seem to have many lines and more just been on the screen. Marion Cotillard I thought was great, she was so believable and just seemed to real.
Wall-E (2008) Review

Totally different, were my first thoughts after the movie finished. Having the main character not really saying anything apart from Wall-e or Eve . . . hence the reason it took more just about a year to eventually decide to watch it. (Yes I was curious as had heard so much about this movie).
New York, I Love You (2009) Poster
Just come across the first poster for New York, I Love You. A new romantic movie, which I think will just be great . . . yes I love NYC and Orlando is in it . . . haha I am sold for those very two reasons.

The Ugly Truth (2009) Review

Lets start off by saying that yes I do enjoy romantic comedies (even if you know how its going to end up). This was no different really, it could have ended up doing the same damage which “He’s Just Not That Into You” done to me but it did not. Both men and women had very good points in this movie. Both of which are quite often true.
My Top 250 Films
I have just started working on my list of my favorite 250 films. I have no idea how long it is going to take, but I am guessing that it is going to be a long project. As I only have 4o written down at the moment and then I will have the difficult task of putting them in order, well the top 10 maybe alright, but then the rest is going to be difficult. I need to figure out some kind of way to help order them. Like a framework, I was thinking of: acting in the film, storyline, favorite lines, favorite moments . . . any more suggestions to help me out?
Shrink (2009) Pictures
With being a huge fan of Kevin Spacey I am still really looking forward to this movie. Been looking at somethings about it today and came across some pictures.

I really do think this is going to be another great Spacey performance !!!

Prince of Persia (2009) Poster
I have not decided whether or not I am looking forward to this film . . .

Across the Universe (2007) Review

Different, strange, odd, bizarre are all words which could be used to describe this film but I am going to use brilliant! Yes it is very different to pretty much anything that I have seen before, but it was just so incredible in my opinion. Parts of it were a little odd and out of this world, but I really thought that was the whole point. Its so visually striking and very cleverly written, to include a lot of different songs by The Beatles. In a way of telling a very nice story.
Iron Man 2 (2010) Pictures
Just come across some new pictures from Iron Man 2

I really cannot wait for this movie to come out, is it next year yet?
Broadway – Hamlet
I have just read that from September Jude Law is bringing Hamlet to Broadway !!! I think he got pretty mixed reviews in the West End, but still some very good praise. Yes this does mean I hope to hit Broadway again in September !!!
Pineapple Express (2008) Review

I never really fancied this when it was released in the cinema last year, but after hearing a lot of mixed things about it (and an ever growing fondness of James Franco). I decided to give it ago and watch “Pineapple Express” and it is by no means the best comedy movie I have ever seen. But it did get me laughing at certain points mainly because of how random a lot of it was. Yes, it is mainly a movie based on weed . . . or the problems that occured all because of the weed known as pineapple express.
Movie Locations
Another new type of post that I am going to start doing is looking at different locations to see which movies are set in this location and how popular it is in terms of movies. Plus different events which occur in this movies.
So far the list of locations is:
- New York City
- Chicago
- Las Vegas
- London
- Paris
Again any suggestions are appreciated
Remake the Movie
I have decided to have a new feature on the blog. Every week (I havent decided which day yet) that I will remake an older movie- by saying what my dream cast if it was remade now would be. I will probably start off with older movies and then get into movies in which I thought someone else would play them better.
This is not going to be really serious, for some of them I am not saying that I think they should be made just who I think would be quite good in certain roles, or I could see in that character.
If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to comment with them !!!
Happy 22nd Birthday to ME !!!
Today I turn 22 years old
(yes I am getting on a bit)
Thursday 16th July 2009 . . . I was actually born on a Thursday.
TV Shows I Love
I thought it would be good to have a post about my favorite TV Shows, which I have loved for years now and still watch over and over again. Yes they still make me happy and make me smile (and probably the odd episode makes me cry). There is not many shows that I really love and watch over and over. I can only think of 4 which fit into this category.
Sex and the City

It has been my ultimate favorite for so long now, I used to watch it every night as it was on paramount comedy over and over. From series 1 to 6 and when it was done, it used to start over again. With the addition of the movie and then the second movie which is due to start filming soon, this is just an obsession of mine that will never get old and go away. I appreciate SATC so much, I adore Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda a lot. I see different parts of each of them in myself and I am sure most other women do too. It it obviously is about one of my favorite things . . . sex, haha. But the friendships that is in the movie are just so fantastic as well I love it. I hope the friends I have now are my Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda . . . as believe it or not they are quite similar to them and myself with Carrie, I even have my own version of Mr Big. Yes it is all going to be heartache in that department.
The Golden Girls

“Thank you for being a friend” is the theme song to this show and its just such a nice theme song to have. I think when everyone reaches the stage of there lives which the Golden Girls are in, they will be saying thank you for being a friend to the people who are still around them, as I am assuming that it will more than likely be your friends. A group of retired women living together, who would really have thought it would have been a massive hit? But it really was in the 80′s. Yes I am too young to know it from the first time around, but I love it a lot and used to watch it when ever it was on and even set it to record. I adore how funny it is, and possibly SATC girls when they are older?
Friends

The ultimate favorite of the 90′s and it will always be one of my favorites. I still watch it when ever it is on to this day (which is like every day, on some channel, haha). I just do not find myself getting bored of “Friends” like ever. Its still funny no matter how many times you have seen the one where . . . I grew up with the friends guys and it was very sad when they decided to call it a day and the series was over. I think it could have still lasted a few more seasons. I wouldn’t say no to a movie version even if it does not sound the best idea in the world, but who cares it would still be amazing its friends.
Will & Grace

A guy gay and a straight girl who pretty much go on like a married couple, throw in another gay guy who is very camp and a woman with a high pitched squeaky voice and your onto a winner! Karen and Jack are probably the real stars of Will and Grace. They are so hilarious together and just make you laugh so much with the stupid things they say and do throughout the series. They defiantly provide my favorite moments in the show. The guest appearances on this were fantastic as well, Michael Douglas episode is my all time favorite.
