Movie Quote of the Day 18

I have not posted a movie quote for a rather long time now . . . so thought I should get back in the habit of posting them :-)

Today’s is from “A Star is Born” with Judy Garland. This quote probably will not make any sense if you have not seen the movie

“Hello, everybody. This is Mrs. Norman Maine.”

Movie Picture of the Day 8

Just for comedy value. One of my favorite actors, from my favorite superhero franchise. The Riddler . . . in Batman Forever.

Netflix !!!

So I have signed up to Netflix and so far I am very impressed.

I am on the 1 dvd send out and unlimited online watching. I have set up quite a list so far, of movies which I have not yet seen and really want to see (providing lots of reviews, hopefully!). The first dvd I have had sent out is “I Am Sam” so I plan on watching that very soon so I can then get another dvd out.

I watched “The Way We Were” online last night and was very impressed that it is DVD quality. I also have a very long list set up of movies which I can watch online through this. Again mainly movies I have not seen, but with the odd favorite thrown in for good measures.

So I am pleased to say I will be able to now get more reviews done while enjoying watching movies again. Miss having my DVDs and Sky Movies !!!

All in all, Netflix does not seem bad value at $8.99 a month !!!

The Way We Were (1973) Review

I watched this for the first time last night, of course I had heard quite a bit about this movie. Had heard the song quite a lot. But for some reason had never actually seen the movie. I liked how the song was on at the start and the music to the song was played throughout the movie which was very nice. (I like that in romantic movies).
